Joint Venture Launch

TotalEnergies and Bapco Energies have launched BxT Trading, a joint venture focused on trading petroleum products in the Middle East. The venture is equally owned and supported by flows from Bapco Energies' Refinery.

Strategic Objectives

BxT Trading aims to enhance Bahrain's oil industry by leveraging its downstream portfolio to maximize value and broaden access to global markets. The joint venture will develop advanced trading, pricing, analysis, and risk management capabilities.

Regional Impact

This initiative strengthens TotalEnergies' trading position in the Middle East, complementing its existing trading activities and international hubs in Houston, Geneva, and Singapore. It enhances the trading teams' responsiveness and agility, allowing them to better address regional specificities.
