Agreement

On 15 June aicep Global Parques signed a land reservation agreement with ACM – Alchemy & Critical Metals, Ltd. for the installation of an antimony refinery at ZILS – Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone.

Jobs and regional impact

The project is expected to create around 150 highly skilled direct jobs and approximately 300 indirect jobs, generating a significant positive impact on the regional economy.

Strategic rationale and site selection

ACM, which specialises in industrial solutions for critical metals and strategic materials, aims to strengthen Europe’s capacity to process essential raw materials and contribute to the security and resilience of strategic supply chains.

The choice of ZILS reflects Sines’ attractiveness for strategic industrial projects, benefiting from its logistics, energy and connectivity advantages and reinforcing the park’s position for investments aligned with Europe’s industrial priorities and strategic autonomy objectives.
