About Stellantis

Stellantis N.V. is a global automotive manufacturer formed in 2021 through the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Groupe PSA. Headquartered in the Netherlands, it designs, engineers, manufactures, and sells passenger cars, SUVs, light commercial vehicles, and parts under brands including Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel, Vauxhall, Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Chrysler, and Maserati.

For the chemical and materials value chain, Stellantis is a major consumer of battery cells and critical raw materials used in electrified vehicles—such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, and graphite. The company works with suppliers and joint ventures to localize battery cell production in Europe and North America, and to secure long‑term access to battery materials. Its strategy includes advancing battery chemistry, cathode and anode materials sourcing, and recycling and circularity initiatives to reduce embedded carbon and improve end‑of‑life recovery. Stellantis pursues significant CO2 reductions across manufacturing and its supply chain, alongside a rapid expansion of hybrid and battery‑electric vehicle offerings.
