QatarEnergy LNG (Arabic: قطر للطاقة الغاز الطبيعي المسال) is the liquefied natural gas operating company of QatarEnergy. Formerly known as Qatargas, it develops, operates, and manages Qatar’s LNG production and export assets and related infrastructure.
Headquartered in Doha with major operations at Ras Laffan Industrial City, the company runs multiple LNG liquefaction trains and associated facilities for gas treatment, condensate and natural gas liquids recovery, sulfur handling, and helium extraction. It supplies LNG to customers worldwide through long-term and spot contracts, works with international partners via joint ventures, and underpins Qatar’s position as one of the world’s leading LNG producers.
