The Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company (PETROJET) is a major Egyptian joint-stock company and leading multidisciplinary EPC contractor in the oil, gas, petrochemical, power, and infrastructure sectors.
Founded in 1975 as the construction arm of the Egyptian petroleum sector, it delivers integrated engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication, and project management services for industrial plants, pipelines, tank farms, offshore structures, process equipment, and civil works including roads, bridges, tunnels, and buildings.
PETROJET operates fabrication yards, manufacturing centers, and pipe-coating facilities in Egypt (including new sites in Alamein and El-Tebbin) as well as in Iraq, the UAE, and under construction in Saudi Arabia. Ownership is dominated by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) at approximately 97%, with small stakes held by ENPPI and employee funds. PETROJET participates in major regional projects and serves as a shareholder in Egyptian consortia, including the Abu Tartour Phosphoric Acid Plant.
