Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries (ENPPI) is a major Egyptian engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor focused on the petroleum, petrochemical, power generation, and related process industries.
Founded on January 15, 1978, and headquartered in Nasr City, Cairo, the company is 97% owned by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), with the balance held by other state petroleum entities. It operates under Egyptian Investment Law No. 8 of 1997 with a paid-up capital of approximately $220 million and employs more than 3,000 professionals.
ENPPI delivers fully integrated services encompassing feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction supervision, project management, and turnkey EPC execution for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities, refineries, petrochemical plants, pipelines, utilities, and power projects. It has completed over 579 major projects totaling more than 17 million man-hours across Egypt, the Middle East, North Africa, and select international markets including Oman and Saudi Arabia.
As one of the largest engineering firms in the MENA region, ENPPI supports Egypt's energy and industrial development and participates as a shareholder in strategic national projects such as the Abu Tartour Phosphoric Acid Plant consortium alongside other state-owned entities like Petrojet.
