Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC – Masdar is a UAE-based clean energy developer and investor headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Established in 2006, it is jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and Mubadala. Masdar develops, finances, builds, and operates renewable power projects worldwide, including solar (PV and CSP), onshore and offshore wind, waste-to-energy, and energy storage.
Beyond power generation, Masdar is building a global green hydrogen business aimed at supplying hydrogen and derivatives such as green ammonia and methanol for industrial processes, power, and maritime fuels. The company collaborates with governments, utilities, and industrial partners through joint ventures and co-investments to advance large-scale decarbonization projects across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
