Following the 2016 spin-off of its conventional generation business into Uniper and a 2019 asset swap with RWE that brought innogy’s networks and supply activities into the Group, E.ON focuses on regulated electricity and gas distribution networks and customer energy solutions. The company operates extensive distribution system operators across Germany and other European markets, including the United Kingdom, Sweden, and parts of Central and Eastern Europe.
