Uniper SE's Supervisory Board is restructuring its management to focus on strategy, financial strength, and efficient organization. Christian Barr will become the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on 1 November 2025, taking over from Jutta Dönges, who will join Aumovio SE as CFO.
Christian Barr's Background
Barr has a 25-year career in the energy sector, emphasizing finance. He is currently on the E.ON Group's Management Board at Lechwerke AG, responsible for financial planning and capital allocation. Previously, he was CFO of E.ON UK, managing the integration of Npower and navigating the energy crisis.
New Role for Fabienne Twelemann
Fabienne Twelemann will assume the roles of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) in November. She will oversee Human Resources, IT, Procurement & Real Estate, and Operational Excellence, supporting business transformation through key support functions.
Contract Extensions
The contracts of Holger Kreetz (COO) and Carsten Poppinga (CCO) have been extended by five years. Poppinga has realigned Uniper's global trading business and developed a diversified gas portfolio. Kreetz has advanced the transformation of Uniper's power plant portfolio and initiated renewable energy projects.
