Baltic Power Sp. z o.o. is a Polish offshore wind project company developing, constructing, and planning to operate the Baltic Power Offshore Wind Farm in the Polish sector of the Baltic Sea. The company is a joint venture of ORLEN Group and Canada-based Northland Power.
The project is located off the Pomeranian coast near Łeba and Choczewo and is designed with a total capacity of roughly 1.1 GW. Baltic Power’s scope covers permitting, procurement, installation of turbines and foundations, export and onshore cable routes, grid connection infrastructure, and long-term operations and maintenance.
Once operational, the wind farm is expected to supply renewable electricity to the Polish grid, contributing to diversification of the country’s energy mix and providing low-carbon power relevant to energy-intensive industries. Commissioning is targeted in the mid‑2020s.
