Contract and scope

Worley Rosenberg has been awarded a fabrication contract by Subsea7 to produce 34 subsea structures—primarily PLEMs, PLETs and pig launchers/receivers—for Equinor’s Fram Sør development.

Schedule and workforce

Work starts immediately with steel cutting planned in June and delivery scheduled in the first half of 2027; peak yard staffing will exceed 80 across project management and fabrication disciplines.

Field development and tie‑backs

Fram Sør is a subsea field using four 4‑slot templates with 12 wells at start‑up and four additional slots for future development; subsea installations will tie back to existing Fram infrastructure and to the Troll C platform for processing.

Export routes and emissions

Oil will be transported via Troll Oil Pipeline II to Mongstad and gas exported via Troll A to Kollsnes; Troll C will operate with power from shore, resulting in very low production emissions.
