Wison New Energies has signed a collaboration agreement to integrate Shell’s Dual Mixed Refrigerant (DMR) liquefaction technology into Wison’s floating LNG (FLNG) offerings, aiming to accelerate deployment of next‑generation FLNG solutions.
Technology
Shell’s DMR is an established liquefaction solution for floating and onshore LNG facilities that combines efficiency, compactness and flexibility. The pre‑engineered, DMR‑based technology can scale across project sizes and deliver tailored carbon intensity outcomes. Until now it had been deployed only in Shell‑equity projects; under the agreement it will be available to the broader FLNG market for the first time.
Scope of collaboration
The collaboration pairs Wison’s integrated FLNG delivery model — including EPCIC and O&M capabilities and advanced fabrication yards — with Shell’s LNG process expertise. Shell Catalysts & Technologies will assist with integration during pre‑FEED, FEED and EPC phases and will provide process performance guarantees to support project delivery and operational performance.
