Shell says the divestment supports ECS’s continued growth within a complementary environmental solution technology platform.

Offerings include DeNOx systems designed to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions and meet tightening environmental standards while maintaining operational performance. Shell built ECS over more than 30 years and has deployed the technologies at scale, serving over 300 customers worldwide, including Shell assets. Under the agreement, Shell will continue to support ECS customers during a transition period to ensure continuity of supply and service. Lummus says the acquisition strengthens its emissions‑control and environmental solutions, deepens cross‑industry relationships and will welcome the ECS team to build on the business’s existing customer base.
