TotalEnergies has signed an agreement to acquire a 49% interest in natural gas producing assets in the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma, from Continental Resources. These assets are well connected to Henry Hub through existing midstream infrastructure, enhancing TotalEnergies' integration in the U.S. LNG value chain.
Production Potential
The acquired assets are expected to reach a gross production of approximately 350 MMscfd by 2030, with TotalEnergies securing a net gas production of around 150 MMscfd. This acquisition complements previous purchases in the Eagle Ford Basin, specifically the Dorado and Constellation assets.
Existing Operations
TotalEnergies currently operates a technical production of around 500 MMscfd in the Barnett. This acquisition further consolidates its position in the U.S. natural gas market.
