Project Overview
Perpetual Next, in collaboration with TSI, is set to install a new torrefaction reactor in Estonia starting in August. This installation is based on the technology from an operational reactor located in Georgia, USA.
Technology and Development
The reactor in Estonia will incorporate Perpetual Next's torrefaction technology as part of a broader biomethanol blueprint. This blueprint aims to develop production sites for green methanol, with support from engineering firm Fluor.
Future Expansion
Following the Estonia project, additional sites are planned in the Netherlands, specifically in Groningen Seaports and Port of Moerdijk, as well as in the United States.
Market Demand
The initiative is driven by the increasing demand for green methanol, particularly from the international shipping industry.
