Leadership Change
Effective June 10, 2025, William Lacobie will take over as General Director of Tengizchevroil (TCO), succeeding Kevin Lyon. Lyon has been appointed to a new executive role at Chevron Corporate headquarters.
Kevin Lyon's Tenure
During his leadership, Lyon successfully delivered the Future Growth Project and supported Kazakhstan's petrochemical industry and domestic gas needs.
William Lacobie's Background
Lacobie brings 31 years of experience, having held various operations and leadership roles in Chevron Business Units across the USA, Angola, and Indonesia. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Chevron's Southern Africa Strategic Business Unit.

Lacobie aims to maintain safe and reliable operations while supporting Kazakhstan's economic development. He is committed to strengthening partnerships with the Government of Kazakhstan, shareholders, and local communities.
