About TCO

Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) is a Kazakhstan-based oil and gas joint venture that develops the Tengiz and Korolev fields in the Atyrau Region. Chevron operates the venture, with partners KazMunayGas, ExxonMobil, and LukArco (a LUKOIL affiliate). The company produces crude oil and processes associated gas, supplying sales gas, LPG, and recovered sulfur.

TCO operates large-scale sour-crude facilities and advanced gas injection and reservoir management systems to enhance recovery and maintain pressure in its deep, high-pressure carbonate reservoirs. Its integrated processing plants include sulfur recovery and gas treatment, supporting exports primarily via regional pipeline infrastructure. The company’s operations are a major source of hydrocarbons in Kazakhstan and an important upstream link for regional energy and petrochemical value chains.
