Overview

Saltigo, a LANXESS subsidiary, will exhibit at Chemspec Europe on 6–7 May 2026 (Koelnmesse, booth 8E30), presenting its capabilities in custom chemical synthesis and scale-up to multi-ton production.

Technology portfolio

Capabilities include high-pressure hydrogenation, phosgenation, fluorination, metathesis and flow chemistry, combined with diverse reactor concepts, process engineering and industrial infrastructure to develop tailored production routes for complex molecules and intermediates.

Applications and substances

Target areas include agrochemical active ingredients and intermediates, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, electronics and battery materials, catalysts, functional additives and consumer care; specific substances cited include triazoles, phosphazene, carbonyldiimidazole (CDI) and the insect-repellent active Saltidin.

Flavors and preservatives

Saltigo will also present preservatives, flavor chemicals and intermediates used in personal care, household and pharmaceutical applications to support product protection, shelf life and sensory properties.

Industry dialogue

Dr. Christoph Schaffrath will take part in a Chemspec panel, "Scaling, adapting and partnering for the future," on 6 May 2026 at 10:45 in hall 7 (Strategy Stage) to discuss sustainable growth, collaboration and scaling strategies.

Anniversary note

Saltigo marks 20 years of exclusive synthesis work since 2006.
