Preservation Solutions

LANXESS introduces preservation solutions for cosmetics, including Neolone PH 100 and Neolone PH Max. Neolone PH 100 is a phenoxyethanol-based preservative suitable for various personal care products, offering protection against bacteria. Neolone PH Max combines phenoxyethanol with natural pelargonic acid, providing broad-spectrum protection and versatile properties.

Sustainable Ingredients

Purox S Scopeblue is highlighted as an environmentally friendly sodium benzoate with a significantly reduced CO2 footprint. It is produced using non-fossil energy and renewable raw materials, aligning with sustainability goals. Additionally, LANXESS offers Purolan PD-LO and its plant-based alternative, Purolan PD-LO Natural, as multifunctional raw materials for personal care products.

Life Cycle Analyses

Dr. Matthias Kunze, Manager of Business Development at LANXESS, will present on life cycle analyses for preservatives. His talk, titled “Life Cycle Analyses Calculation for Cosmetic Preservatives – Challenges and Key Learnings,” will address the challenges of LCA calculation using a Scopeblue product example. The presentation is scheduled for April 15 at 2:45 p.m. in the Forum Theater, Hall 7, Level 1.
