Saltigo GmbH is a German custom manufacturing company for specialty chemicals and a wholly owned subsidiary of LANXESS AG. Established in 2006 from the consolidation of LANXESS’s custom synthesis activities, the company is headquartered in Leverkusen, Germany.
Saltigo focuses on contract development and manufacturing of active ingredients and intermediates, with a strong position in crop protection as well as applications in life sciences and other specialty segments. Its capabilities span process development, route optimization, multi‑step organic synthesis, scale‑up, and commercial production, including experience with demanding and hazardous chemistries.
Production is carried out at multipurpose plants in the CHEMPARK sites of Leverkusen and Dormagen, integrated into established infrastructure and supply chains. Saltigo operates under stringent quality, environmental, and safety standards and supports customers across the product lifecycle, from laboratory work through industrial manufacturing.
