Operational Highlights
The Petromidia refinery processed over 4.3 million tons of raw materials, achieving a utilization rate of 96.82% for the first nine months. The Vega refinery processed 281 thousand tons of raw materials, benefiting from increased component supplies from Petromidia. The refinery maintained optimal operational parameters with a low technological loss of 0.77% and energy consumption of 2.47 GJ/t.
Market and Sales
Fuel sales were directed 60% to the domestic market, with a slight decrease in retail sales due to increased VAT, excise duties, and declining purchasing power. However, wholesale sales increased as part of a strategic effort to strengthen market position. The distribution network in Romania expanded to 1,206 points of sale, including company-owned, partner, and mobile stations.
Petrochemical Production
Total polymer production reached 62 thousand tons, with sales primarily targeting the domestic market. The company restarted its Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) plant in May, continuing to support various production segments in Romania.
