Production milestone

ProLogium has started mass production of its Gen 3.5 Lithium Ceramic Battery (LCB) at its Giga‑level manufacturing facility in Taiwan, scaling all‑solid‑state battery technology beyond laboratory and pilot lines. The Gen 3.5 cell is built on ProLogium’s Logithium™ cell architecture and the company’s established manufacturing platform.

Performance and safety testing

A third‑party TÜV report showed ProLogium’s 185.4 Ah large‑format cell achieved 381 Wh/kg gravimetric and 903 Wh/L volumetric energy density. Separately, UL Solutions tested the cell under GB/T 43568‑2026; after six hours at 120°C under vacuum the cell’s weight loss was under 0.05%, well below the 0.5% cutoff, allowing classification as all‑solid‑state. GB/T 43568‑2026 has been submitted to the IEC as a reference for international standardization.

Manufacturing platform and track record

ProLogium describes the Logithium architecture and LCB platform as scalable: the core architecture dates to 2012 and the company says it has iterated four battery generations and three manufacturing generations. Since commercial production began in 2013 it has shipped more than 2.4 million cells, holds IATF 16949 automotive certification, and supplies repeat automotive and unmanned‑systems customers, including a U.S. audio‑system customer and a Japanese automaker with cumulative deliveries exceeding 900,000 cells.

Roadmap and localisation

The company plans to move to a Gen 4 fully inorganic superfluidized electrolyte system while retaining the Logithium architecture; ProLogium expects only about 10% of existing Giga‑line equipment will need modification. It plans a global manufacturing network with Taiwan as development and validation, France for scaled production, and phased North American localisation using an inlay‑production and downstream assembly model.
