Expansion Plan
Polynt Group is set to expand its Malic Acid production capacity by 8000 T/Y at its Ravenna, Italy site. The new plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2016.
Increased Capacity
Upon completion of this investment, Polynt's total Malic Acid capacity will reach 22,000 T/Y. This expansion leverages the integration of Maleic Anhydride, the main raw material for Malic Acid.
Market Demand
The expansion is driven by the growing global demand for Malic Acid. Key application sectors include food and beverage, confectioneries, preserves, bakery products, and technical uses such as metal cleaning, electroplating, water treatment, and the textile industry.
