Project status
Plenitude has started production at the 200 MW southern block of the Renopool photovoltaic project in Solana de los Barros (Badajoz), bringing the entire complex to full operation with a total installed capacity of 330 MW.

The facility comprises a 130 MW northern plant and a 200 MW southern plant, equipped with approximately 565,000 bifacial modules. Annual generation is estimated at 670 GWh.
Schedule and local impact
Construction began in February 2024. The northern plant entered operation in June 2025 and the southern block was commissioned in line with the company’s two‑year timeline, supporting local employment and regional economic activity during construction.
Cultural and environmental measures
Archaeological monitoring uncovered finds mainly from the Chalcolithic period; these discoveries were catalogued and preserved in coordination with regional authorities. Plenitude also agreed with Fundación Funpasos and the University of Extremadura to fund five years of scientific studies on wildlife presence and soil quality within the solar sites.
