Nanning Sun Paper awards ANDRITZ orders for third pulp line and PM21

Project award
Nanning Sun Paper Co., Ltd. has placed repeat orders with ANDRITZ to supply main process technology and key equipment for its third pulp mill line and for new paper machine PM21 at the Nanning, Guangxi site.
Scope of supply
ANDRITZ will deliver three 360° Stacker Reclaimers and four gyratory chip screens; a high‑kappa fiberline featuring advanced chip feeding, continuous cooking, refining, screening and washing technologies (multi‑stage DD‑Washer drum displacer, COMPACT PRESS wash press, GF‑Filter vacuum drum filter washer); a recovery boiler with 2,500 tds/d black liquor firing capacity and steam parameters of 105 bar(g)/515 °C; and a white liquor plant with an integrated circulating fluidized bed (CFB) gasifier to enable fossil‑free lime kiln operation. The package also includes advanced refining and screening, approach flow and broke handling systems.

The orders are valued in the mid double‑digit million‑euro range and were included in ANDRITZ’s order intake for the second quarter of 2026. Start‑up is scheduled for mid‑2027.
