Biomethane Production Goals
The partnership aims to repurpose 3.1 million tons of livestock and agricultural waste annually, contributing to 8% of the target set by Spain's National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC) for 2030. The biomethane produced will support green hydrogen production and serve as a natural gas substitute to decarbonize industrial operations.

Moeve expects to have approximately 10 approved biomethane projects by the end of 2025. The production capacity is equivalent to the natural gas consumed by 142,000 households each year.
