Event and attendance

The opening ceremony of the 9th China International Import Expo and Hongqiao International Economic Forum took place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Sinopec held its Theme Forum and trade delegation signing ceremony the day prior. Hou Qijun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group, delivered the keynote at the forum and signing event. Strategic priorities

Hou outlined three proposals: strengthen resilient and efficient supply chains through cooperation on oil and gas development, LNG trade, pipeline networks and storage/peak‑shaving; deepen green development via dialogue on carbon trading, green finance and sustainable energy investment; and build an open innovation ecosystem targeting deep and ultra‑deep exploration, large‑scale CCUS, green hydrogen storage and transport, and intelligent equipment.
