Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (SECCO Petrochemicals) is a large integrated petrochemical producer based in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP), China. Established as a joint venture, the company is now a subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec). Its operations center on a world-scale ethylene complex that anchors one of the country’s major single-site petrochemical facilities.
SECCO’s manufacturing system spans an ethylene cracker and downstream units supplying core building-block chemicals and polymers. The product slate includes olefins and derivatives such as ethylene, propylene, polyethylene, and polypropylene, along with other basic petrochemical intermediates used across plastics, packaging, automotive, and consumer goods value chains. The company’s integrated setup enables feedstock-to-derivatives production, logistics within SCIP, and supply to regional and national chemical markets.
