Lund is a former CEO of Equinor, BG Group and Aker Kværner and has chaired BP and Novo Nordisk, bringing governance experience from large, international and energy‑intensive organisations and familiarity with capital markets and geopolitics.

Trond Berger will step down after eight years on the Board and six years as Chair; during his tenure Yara managed major supply‑chain and geopolitical disruptions and delivered record production volumes in 2025 with revenues of USD 15.7 billion.
