Operations and workforce
The Eddyville site manufactures sodium hypochlorite, hydrochloric acid and caustic soda for regional customers and already serves multiple Cargill operations and other manufacturers in the Midwest. Employees from the existing operation transitioned to Chlorum Solutions USA to preserve customer continuity and maintain the site's established safety culture.
Co-location and footprint
Chlorum and Cargill will remain co-location partners at the Eddyville facility. The announcement notes Cargill operates 12 locations in Iowa with 1,800 employees across the state.
Strategic context
