Partnership and governance

Braskem begins a governance renewal with IG4 entering management and Petrobras increasing its operational presence. The move pairs IG4's experience in restructuring and complex-asset management with Petrobras' technical expertise in the national petrochemical industry, a combination the new CEO says will preserve Braskem's strategic relevance.

Strategic and financial priorities

The stated focus is execution: reorganising the financial structure, improving operational efficiency, preserving liquidity and optimising cash generation. The company is reviewing and strengthening its long-term strategy, applying discipline in capital allocation and engaging financial stakeholders to optimise the capital structure.

A new executive team was announced with experience in turnaround, finance and transformation. Hélcio Tokeshi, partner at IG4 with 35 years' experience, is CEO.
