Financial result

The consolidated after‑tax result for 2025 reached CZK 2.2 billion. The 2024 result was CZK 7.1 billion, substantially affected by one‑off proceeds from the sale of companies in the MAFRA, LONDA and Synthesia groups; excluding those extraordinary items, the 2025 result is similar to the prior year.

Scale and workforce

AGROFERT delivered goods, products and services worth CZK 212.2 billion in 2025, an increase of CZK 467 million versus 2024. The concern’s balance sheet total fell from CZK 203.6 billion to CZK 201.3 billion, mainly due to reduced long‑term assets. Average headcount was 28,184, with 17,183 employed in Czech companies, and worldwide wage payouts totaled CZK 21.4 billion.

Investments and sustainability

In 2025 the concern invested CZK 12.9 billion across its geographies, of which CZK 6.1 billion was invested in the Czech Republic. The largest shares went to chemical/renewable/fuels (CZK 5.3 billion), food (CZK 3.5 billion) and agriculture (CZK 3.0 billion). Over CZK 2 billion was invested in ecological measures in 2025, about CZK 1.7 billion of that in chemical, renewable and fuel companies, with specific projects at SKW (CZK 364 million), Duslo (CZK 213 million) and Deza (CZK 70 million).

M&A and outlook for 2026

At end‑March 2026 AGROFERT completed the acquisition of OCI Ammonia Holding, gaining an ammonia import and storage terminal in Rotterdam. In June it signed to buy 50% of Nitrogen Intermediate Holding, subject to regulatory approval. Planned investments for 2026 are about CZK 17 billion, prioritising production streamlining, greening and energy savings, and include several chemical emission‑reduction projects and new food‑production lines. The Board expects improved performance in fertilizer production and at LAT Nitrogen, modest gains in specialty chemicals and renewables processing, stable food results and a slight decline in primary agriculture due to market prices.
