Nitrogen Intermediate Holding B.V. is the holding company for OCI Nitrogen (OCIN), a European producer of nitrogen fertilizers, ammonia, nitrates, and melamine. Headquartered in Geleen, the Netherlands, with production facilities there and historically in China, the company serves agricultural and industrial markets across Europe.
In June 2026, parent company OCI Global announced an agreement to sell a 50% equity interest in Nitrogen Intermediate Holding B.V. to AGROFERT, a European nitrogen products manufacturer. The transaction, valued at 50% of EUR 110 million subject to adjustments, is targeted for completion in the second half of 2027 pending regulatory approvals, after which AGROFERT will assume operational control while OCI retains its economic stake and joint-venture rights.
