Operational performance and milestones
The site has produced more than 1,000 tonnes of bio‑based acids since the start of the ramp‑up, including 200 tonnes after the July restart. Following corrective works in June 2026, demonstrated production capacity was pushed to 30% on multiple occasions and reached 40% over a 48‑hour period, a level the company says must still be confirmed across extended production periods.
The plant’s production process and its water recycling system showed resilience during heatwaves and periods of water stress.
Outlook and management view
AFYREN targets a further doubling of AFYREN NEOXY revenue in H2 2026 versus H1 2026. COO Laurent Pou said the June shutdown was a critical milestone in addressing technical bottlenecks and that the company aims to embed these performance levels by increasing production hours and pursuing continuous process improvement.
