Teréga is a French energy infrastructure operator that transports and stores natural gas in southwest France and provides cross-border connections with Spain. As one of France’s two gas transmission system operators, it offers regulated pipeline and storage services to energy suppliers, shippers, power producers, and industrial users.
The company operates around 5,000 km of high-pressure pipelines and two underground storage sites at Lussagnet and Izaute, forming a key part of the French–Iberian gas network. Its activities include system balancing, interconnection capacity management, and maintenance of gas infrastructure to ensure security of supply.
Teréga is also engaged in the energy transition, integrating biomethane and preparing its network for hydrogen transport and CO2 management to support industrial decarbonization. Headquarters: Pau, France.
