Preem AB is a Swedish oil refining and fuels company serving the Nordic market. It operates two large refineries—Preemraff Lysekil and Preemraff Gothenburg—supplying transportation fuels and other petroleum products domestically and for export.
The company produces gasoline, diesel, jet and marine fuels, heating oil, LPG, bitumen, and petrochemical feedstocks such as naphtha and propylene, alongside sulfur and other by-products. Its operations span crude and intermediate processing (including hydrotreating, catalytic processes, and cracking), logistics, and supply to wholesale and retail channels.
Preem is also developing lower‑carbon products by co-processing and producing renewable fuels, including hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), using bio‑based and waste/residue feedstocks.
