Paradise Oil Company N.V.

Paradise Oil Company N.V. (POC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V., Suriname's national oil company. Incorporated in Suriname, it serves as an upstream oil and gas entity focused on holding and managing participating interests in offshore petroleum agreements with international partners.

Headquartered in Paramaribo, the company maintains interests in multiple blocks in the Suriname-Guyana basin, including a 20% non-operated stake in Block 52 alongside operator PETRONAS. It also holds interests in Blocks 66, 14, 15 and others through production-sharing contracts. Activities center on hydrocarbon exploration and production.

Ownership has remained stable under Staatsolie, whose sole shareholder is the Republic of Suriname. POC supports Staatsolie's role in developing Suriname's offshore resources.
