Ozenmunaigas is a Kazakhstan-based upstream oil and gas producer and a production subsidiary of KazMunayGas, the country’s national oil company. Headquartered in Zhanaozen, Mangystau Region, it develops and operates the mature Uzen and Karamandybas fields, focusing on crude oil and associated gas extraction.
The company’s activities cover reservoir management, drilling and well workovers, gathering and treatment of hydrocarbons, and operation of field infrastructure and pipelines to move production to domestic refineries and export routes. Ozenmunaigas applies techniques such as waterflooding and other enhanced oil recovery methods to sustain output from brownfields, alongside programs for equipment modernization, energy efficiency, and environmental and industrial safety compliance. Its production is a key source of feedstock for Kazakhstan’s refining sector and contributes to regional petrochemical value chains.
