ITM Power plc is a UK-based manufacturer of proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysers used to produce green hydrogen from renewable electricity. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Sheffield, the company designs and builds modular electrolyser systems and turnkey hydrogen generation plants for industrial, energy, and mobility applications. ITM Power’s technology supports decarbonization by supplying hydrogen for uses such as chemical feedstocks, refining, ammonia and methanol production, steelmaking, grid balancing, and hydrogen refueling infrastructure.
