Hydrogen Europe is a Brussels-based industry association representing the European hydrogen and fuel cell sector. Its membership spans the full value chain—from hydrogen production, equipment manufacturing and engineering, to distribution, storage, and end-use in industries such as chemicals, refining, transport, and power. Members include companies, national and regional associations, and research stakeholders focused on scaling renewable and low-carbon hydrogen.
The association advocates for coherent EU policy and regulation, fosters standardization and safety practices, and facilitates collaboration between industry, research, and policymakers. It contributes to research and innovation agendas and public–private collaboration through initiatives such as the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, supporting the development and deployment of hydrogen technologies across industrial and energy systems. Hydrogen Europe also provides market insights and working platforms to help accelerate a competitive, sustainable hydrogen economy in Europe.
