Hydrogen Europe is a Brussels-based industry association representing the European hydrogen and fuel cell value chain. Its membership spans companies, national associations, and research organizations involved in hydrogen production, equipment and technology, infrastructure, and end-use applications across sectors such as chemicals, refining, mobility, and power.
The association focuses on policy advocacy, market development, and technical dialogue to support the scale-up of low-carbon and renewable hydrogen. Activities include engagement on EU legislation and standards, sustainability and certification schemes, safety and regulatory frameworks, and research and innovation collaboration. Hydrogen Europe convenes working groups, publishes studies and position papers, and facilitates cross-sector partnerships to help integrate hydrogen into industrial processes and energy systems.
