The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK; German: Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz) is Germany’s federal government ministry responsible for economic policy, industrial strategy, energy policy, and climate action. It designs and implements policy frameworks to enhance competitiveness while advancing the energy transition and climate neutrality, coordinating with other federal ministries, the Länder, the European Union, and international partners. The ministry is headquartered in Berlin, with additional offices in Bonn.
