Performance Test Success
Uzbekistan GTL LLC has completed its 100% Plant Performance Test Run, marking the plant's transition to full commercial operation. The test demonstrated the plant's ability to exceed its design capacity, producing 38,310 barrels per day compared to the planned 37,650 barrels per day.
Technology and Collaboration
The performance test was conducted by joint owners Air Products and UzGTL, with Sasol providing the Sasol SPD™ process technology license. This technology integrates processes from Topsoe and Chevron with Sasol's Low Temperature Cobalt Fisher-Tropsch technology and water treatment solutions.
Operational Validation
The test confirmed stable operation under full production load for over 144 hours, as well as during turndown conditions. It validated the integrated functionality of all technology and utility blocks, ensuring reliable product quality that meets international standards.
