Uzbekistan GTL LLC (UzGTL) operates a large-scale gas-to-liquids (GTL) complex in Uzbekistan. The company converts domestically produced natural gas into synthetic liquid fuels and petrochemical feedstocks for local and regional markets.
The integrated facility applies reforming and low-temperature Fischer–Tropsch synthesis, followed by hydroprocessing, to produce low-sulphur diesel, kerosene/jet fuel, naphtha, and LPG that meet international specifications. UzGTL collaborates with established technology licensors, including Sasol for Fischer–Tropsch synthesis, alongside other process and utility providers, to deliver consistent product quality and reliability. The operation supports Uzbekistan’s energy supply and provides naphtha and other streams for downstream chemical production.
