Uzbekistan GTL LLC (UzGTL) is a gas‑to‑liquids producer in Uzbekistan. The company owns and operates the Uzbekistan GTL plant in the Kashkadarya region, near the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, converting domestically produced natural gas into synthetic liquid fuels and chemical feedstocks using Fischer–Tropsch technology.
The complex is designed to supply ultra‑low sulphur diesel, kerosene/jet fuel, naphtha, and LPG for transportation, refining, and petrochemical use. By monetizing natural gas into higher‑value liquids, UzGTL supports Uzbekistan’s drive to expand downstream processing, improve fuel quality, and provide reliable feedstocks to the country’s chemicals and energy sectors.
