Introduction

Toray Industries announced that its Ultrasuede™ nu material has been selected for the interior of CUPRA's Tindaya Showcar, debuting at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, Germany.

Material Composition

Ultrasuede™ nu features a deep metallic sheen and luxurious texture, made from approximately 30% plant-based raw materials, including polyester from sugarcane waste and polyurethane from castor oil.

Applications

Beyond automotive interiors, Ultrasuede™ nu is used in lifestyle products, such as suitcases developed with Harper Collective, offering lightweight construction and durability.
