SONATRACH and the German company VNG AG signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore opportunities for cooperation in areas of common interest, notably green hydrogen and reduction of methane emissions. The signing took place at SONATRACH headquarters.

The parties plan to explore new synergies and implement concrete actions, with particular focus on development of green hydrogen and ammonia projects and on measures to reduce methane emissions.
