Financial results

During 2025 SOCAR’s revenues amounted to AZN 86.3 billion and gross profit was AZN 12.6 billion. Profit from operating activities increased by 80% compared with the previous period to AZN 5.2 billion, while net profit amounted to approximately AZN 3.0 billion. EBITDA for 2025 was AZN 10.9 billion, a 26% increase versus 2024. The majority of revenues were generated from sales of crude oil, petroleum and chemical products, and natural gas.

Key transactions and investments

In 2025 SOCAR completed strategically significant transactions including the acquisition of an 80% interest in the Bahar and Gum‑Deniz fields and a 10% effective interest in the Tamar gas field offshore Israel. The company also progressed petrochemical and energy projects in Türkiye, made strategic investments in digital infrastructure and petrochemicals, and expanded gas exports and international partnerships.

Cash flow and state contributions

The increase in profit from operating activities supported cash generation: cash flows from operating activities rose by 136%. SOCAR made payments to the State totaling AZN 3.8 billion in 2025 for dividends, distributions, taxes and social expenditures, and AZN 15.9 billion over the 2021–2025 period; the State invested AZN 1.6 billion in SOCAR during 2021–2025.
