Reorganization completed
On July 10 Sinopec held a leadership conference to announce that it has completed the reorganization of China Aviation Oil. China Aviation Oil has officially become a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Sinopec at the second level. Group Party Secretary and Chairman Hou Qijun attended and spoke; Group General Manager Zhao Dong presided over the meeting.
Timeline and regulatory approvals
The State‑owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) made the strategic deployment for the reorganization at the end of 2025. A reorganization conference was held on January 8. The matter received all domestic and overseas regulatory approvals on June 18, and industrial and commercial change registration was completed on July 9, marking the formal completion of the reorganization work.
Strategic priorities and business goals
Hou Qijun said the reorganization is a concrete action to implement central Party and State Council decisions and called for using the move to promote efficient synergy, integrated high‑quality development of the aviation fuel industry chain, and accelerate building a world‑class aviation energy supplier. The aviation oil company is to align with Sinopec’s "15th Five‑Year Plan" priorities, accelerate transformation and upgrading, and strengthen core competitiveness.
Party building and integration tasks
Hou called for applying Xi Jinping’s Party building thought to strengthen ideological and political guidance, improve Party building systems, and consolidate political integrity. Zhao Dong urged leaders to ensure organizational, team and business stability, lead front‑line implementation, mobilize cadres for a ‘‘second entrepreneurship’’, and secure full support from group headquarters for deeper integration.
