RWE secured contracts for difference (CfDs) for four projects in the Italian FER‑X renewables auction, with a combined capacity of 68 megawatts.
Project details
The Serra Giannina wind farm in Potenza, Basilicata, will comprise six turbines with a total capacity of 42 MW.
The Ponte Valentino 1 & 2 ground‑mounted solar plants in Benevento, Campania, will feature approximately 32,000 solar modules and a combined capacity of 17.65 MWac.
The Carcitella Agri‑PV plant in Sicily will use about 13,000 solar modules mounted on high‑tracker systems and deliver 8 MWac.
Schedule
Construction of all four projects is scheduled to start in 2026.
