RWE Sells Polish Offshore Wind Project to PGE

Project Sale

RWE has completed the sale of its 350-megawatt F.E.W. Baltic II offshore wind development project to PGE. The project is situated approximately 50 kilometers from the Polish town of Ustka in the Baltic Sea.

Environmental Decision Transfer

Alongside the project sale, RWE has transferred the Environmental Decision and related data for the adjacent wind development site 44.E.1 to PGE.

RWE's Ongoing Commitment

RWE continues to support Poland's energy transition by developing, constructing, and operating onshore wind and solar projects, with a current combined capacity of over 700 megawatts in the country.

Offshore Wind Portfolio

RWE operates 19 offshore wind farms across five countries, totaling 6.2 gigawatts of installed capacity. The company is also constructing four additional offshore wind projects in England, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany, which will add a combined generation capacity of 4.8 gigawatts upon completion.
