Transaction Overview
RWE has entered into a transaction agreement with Aneo, a Nordic renewables company, to sell its Swedish wind activities. The deal includes RWE's onshore wind development pipeline of 1.8 gigawatts, operational onshore wind farms with a total capacity of 124 megawatts, and the Karehamn offshore wind farm with a capacity of 48 megawatts. Additionally, part of RWE's third-party onshore service business and the associated development, operations, and offshore teams are included in the transaction.
Timeline and Approvals
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, pending customary approvals. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
